The Village of Pinecrest in Miami-Dade county celebrated their 2nd Annual Bike Day. Let me tell you that it’s no ordinary bike day, they had a lot of major sponsors including Sports Authority, Regions Bank and Miami Children’s Hospital who gave away free helmets for the first 300 participants. It was a huge hit among students and parents.

Also, the whole idea of the event is to promote health, exercise and to encourage everyone to go out and have fun.

Mayor Cindy Lerner and Dr. Lawrence Feldman organized the event together with the support of the sponsors, parents, students and their staff.

We were lucky enough to be invited by the Tim Hardaway Foundation to cover the event.
